It’s an exciting time to be a part of H&R Block! What you'll do... We are a small, experienced team of warehouse specialists in Lee’s Summit Missouri. We are currently looking for a supervisor overseeing 4 to 6 team members. Day to day, you'll... Provide shipping and receiving guidance and general warehouse expertise for orders that are processed through Technology Services and the H&R Block Enterprise Repair Depot Work closely with your manager and a small production team to ensure adequate inventory of parts and equipment are in stock and ready to ship Prepare, inspect and box IT asset equipment for outbound shipping and complete check-in for inbound shipping Perform day-to-day duties of the general warehouse operations requirements to include scanning, tracking, inventory, cycle counts, housekeeping and daily scheduling of associates and daily workloads You will be expected to be on time daily, dependable, proficient, working smartly and safely in a whole property smoke and drug free environment

Requirements

  • Associate's degree and 5 years of experience
  • Three years of supervisor leadership (4 to 6 associates, managing flexible and multiple shifts)
  • Three years of shipping and receiving experience using UPS WorldShip or FedEx tools
  • Shipping Vendor Management experience
  • Three years Inventory control experience, this should include cycle counts, with quarterly whole inventory cycles
  • Experience programming and daily use of barcode scanners and inventory tracking software
  • Three years of pallet jack/ sit-down forklift experience with overhead pallet location up to 32 feet
  • Three years’ experience in customer service assisting internal and/or external customers
  • Ability to organize, comprehend, deliver and carry out verbal and written instructions, effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and balance daily tasks, workloads and associate abilities and to work independently while leading a team
  • Computer literate, familiar with Microsoft Office Suite and previous understanding of inventory systems and common shipping software
  • Be able to consistently lift, carry, box and unbox, stack up to 65 pounds unaided
  • Must be able to work on your feet during a normal 8 to10 hour workday, bending, lifting, squatting, push/ pull/ move a loaded manual pallet jack
  • Must be available for overtime hours on demand as business needs arise, this can include Saturdays and Holidays as required
