About The Position

The Inventory Control & Tool Crib Attendant at Figeac Aero North America plays a crucial role in managing inventory and ensuring the efficient operation of the tool crib. This position involves unloading materials, inspecting their condition, maintaining inventory systems, and supporting the production floor by managing tool and material availability. The role is essential for maintaining organization and safety within the warehouse environment while contributing to the overall efficiency of the aerospace manufacturing process.

Requirements

• 2+ years of manufacturing experience in an aerospace or manufacturing environment required
• Efficient computer skills
• Previous experience working with inventory controls preferred
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, flexible and receptive to change
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Previous experience with cycle counts
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products such as Word & Excel
• Familiarity with Visual ERP system or other ERP system is preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working with inventory controls preferred
• Familiarity with Visual ERP system or other ERP system is preferred

Responsibilities

• Unload all incoming materials to ensure accurate information and quantities
• Inspect condition of materials upon arrival for any damage and correct quantities
• Analyze physical storage location of material for efficiency and proximity to point of use
• Move and pack parts between buildings to prepare for shipping
• Perform general cleaning to keep the warehouse and parts room organized, clean, and safe
• Maintain computer inventory systems for all purchasing and inventory requirements
• Receive assembly items and paint into stock and maintain supply levels
• Check out material from Tool Crib to production floor and update quantities as needed
• Log and alert discrepancies discovered during cycle counting of actual inventory vs. system inventory
