About The Position
The Inventory Control Technician at Majestic Kitchen & Bath Creations plays a crucial role in managing the intake, quality assessment, and documentation of granite and quartz materials. This position is essential for ensuring that all inventory processes are followed accurately and efficiently. The technician will be responsible for loading and unloading materials from company vehicles, processing inbound purchase orders from various carriers, and inspecting all incoming materials for damages. This includes documenting any issues and coordinating with the purchasing agent for credits or reorders as necessary. In addition to handling incoming materials, the technician will maintain organized records of all purchase orders by vendor and date received. This includes printing and applying slab tags for new slabs, separating supply room orders, and checking for accuracy in inventory locations. Daily organization of the supply room, sink areas, and dock area is also a key responsibility. The technician will conduct weekly cycle counts on high-volume sinks and slabs, reporting any adjustments to the Inventory Supervisor. Monthly inventory counts of the supply room will also be required to maintain par levels of inventory. The role requires effective communication and documentation skills, as the technician will coordinate job pickups with the install supervisor and provide warehouse support as needed. The technician must exhibit strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a multi-priority environment. This position is vital for ensuring that the inventory processes are adhered to and that the quality of work meets the company's high standards.
