The Inventory Control Tech is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory records. Monitors stock levels, conducts regular physical counts, and reconciles discrepancies. Coordinates with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure timely replenishment and proper storage of materials. Utilizes inventory management software to track inventory movement and generate reports. Ensures compliance with company policies and safety regulations related to inventory handling.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED PLUS One (1) Year of inventory control experience.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains a consistent stock of inventory by processing orders for inventory and supporting information in the inventory database.
  • Receives incoming supplies and packages from various vendors, verifying orders and checking the condition of received items.
  • Records received inventory and tags and stores items, as required.
  • Ensures delivery of materials to the requesting department.
  • Performs tasks, using standard operating equipment and computer programs to prepare forms, correspondence, reports, and other documents.
  • Assists with scheduled inventory audits, conducting frequent spot and partial audits of physical inventory.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
