About The Position

Organization: SGMF-Sutter Gould Med Foundation Position Overview: This is a Limited Term position - 32 weeks Performs stocking and storing of medical supplies, primarily in the supply chain storeroom. Activities include, but not limited to, receiving, inventory management, supply and equipment requisitions, billing support, de-casing and stocking supplies. Works under close supervision and in conjunction with one-up leader, providing tactical expertise and assistance for all clinical and non-clinical equipment and supplies. Works closely with Supply Chain teammates and clinicians to aid supply chain goals and objectives. Executes periodic cycle counts and annual inventory tasks.

Requirements

• HS Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
• Routine work requiring problem-solving capability and paying close attention to detail.
• Must possess aptitude in math and computer operation.
• Must have the skills to produce accurate work results within established timeframes.
• Must have the ability to work independently with minimal guidance and direction.
• Must abide by the department's policy on Conflict of Interest.
• Employees of Sutter Health and its entities may handle hazardous drugs in the course of their work, including patient care, which requires them to manage, store, prepare, receive, unpack, transport, dispose of, or administer drugs identified as hazardous or potentially hazardous by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) and in accordance with the USP 800 guidelines.

Responsibilities
