General Summary: Performs advanced supply chain support for a UAS manufacturing facility, with a strong focus on inventory management systems, material flow, and lifecycle support of unmanned aircraft systems and associated components. Supports procurement, production, and program teams by ensuring accurate inventory control, efficient asset distribution, and alignment with program requirements. Plays a key role in optimizing inventory control processes, supporting production readiness, and maintaining data integrity across enterprise systems, including shipping and receiving operations. Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions) Performs complex logistics and supply chain analyses to support UAS production, sustainment, and program execution. Manages and maintains accuracy of inventory within enterprise resource planning (ERP) and/or inventory management systems (e.g., cycle counts, reconciliation, transaction accuracy, traceability). Oversees and executes shipping and receiving operations, including inbound material inspections, verification against purchase orders, and proper system transactions. Ensures accurate receipt, storage, handling, and issuance of materials, including lot/serial-controlled and flight-critical components. Coordinates outbound shipments, including packaging, documentation, and compliance with customer, regulatory, and export requirements (if applicable). Oversees material flow from receipt through production, storage, and final shipment, ensuring alignment with production schedules and customer delivery requirements. Analyzes contractual requirements, technical data, usage trends, and maintenance practices to determine spares provisioning, repair requirements, and stocking levels for UAS platforms and subsystems. Identifies, prioritizes, and manages critical logistics assets, including long-lead materials, flight-critical components, and support equipment. Develops and implements logistics and inventory strategies to optimize warehouse operations, kitting, line-side delivery, and asset visibility. Coordinates logistics elements including spares, support equipment, tooling, training materials, facilities, and technical documentation. Ensures compliance with inventory control procedures, quality standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., traceability, serialization, export control, and shipping compliance). Drives continuous improvement initiatives in logistics processes, including inventory accuracy, material handling efficiency, and shipping/receiving throughput. Develops and refines policies, procedures, and work instructions to ensure consistency, quality, and cost control across logistics and warehouse operations. Partners with procurement, engineering, production, and suppliers to resolve material issues, shortages, shipping discrepancies, and receiving nonconformances. Builds and maintains strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to support program success and timely issue resolution. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
