About The Position

DHL in Lithia Springs, GA is looking for a Supervisor to oversee our Inventory Control Team. Previously or Currently in Inventory Leadership Role, Highly Desireable The Inventory Control Supervisor should possess knowledge and experience of working with 3PL and have the ability to interact directly with our customer. Desire to have Manhattan, SAP, & LMS experience.Looking for a strong leadership background of managing processes and people.This role will oversee our 2nd shift Inventory Control Team who works a schedule of Monday - Thursday. (2nd shift is scheduled 3p -1:30a). This position may be required to train on day shift for up to 6 weeks. The Inventory Control Supervisor role has a national salary range of $55,000 - $90,000. For roles within California the range is $70,304 - $90,000, Washington is $80,169 - $90,000, New York is 62,354 - $90,000 and Colorado 57,500 - $90,000. Job Description To provide guidance and coordination of the non-exempt Inventory Control Team daily activities necessary to maintain accurate inventory records relative to the client service level agreement. The Inventory Control Supervisor will assist site Inventory Control and Operations Leadership and Operations Peers in assessing inventory inaccuracies and recommending corrective action necessary to support continuous process improvement and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent 4 years experience, required
  • Some knowledge of inventory control, preferred
  • Knowledge of systems such as JDA, Manhattan, WMS, DMPLUS, SAP, etc. required

Responsibilities

  • Ensure customer inventory control accuracy and shrink contractual requirements / service level agreements are monitored and reported timely to site leadership
  • Maximize the performance of the site inventory processes and system to ensure: Care, custody, and control of customer inventory; Accuracy (to floor and customer book); Proper utilization of information technology
  • Provide required documentation to customer, customer’s financial statement auditor or appropriate regulatory auditor in support of compliance requirements
  • Ensure a safe, secure, clean and fair work environment for associates
  • Conduct associate performance reviews, individual development plans and succession plans
  • Ensure company policies are communicated, administered, and enforced at appropriate levels
  • Ensure associates have proper training and access to the necessary tools to perform their assigned
