POSITION SUMMARY The Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for ensuring accurate inventory management and supporting efficient distribution operations across the regional distribution center. This role oversees inventory control processes, supervises yard team members, and coordinates closely with the Gresham Plant, and others throughout the company to ensure timely and accurate product movement. This position plays a key role in maintaining inventory integrity, improving processes, and supporting day-to-day operations, while promoting a high level of internal and external customer service

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or distribution required.
  • Prior supervisory or lead experience preferred, especially overseeing warehouse or yard teams.
  • Strong understanding of inventory systems and reconciliation processes, experience with Oracle EBS or similar ERP systems preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, prioritize work, and drive accountability.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate across locations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); experience with inventory systems required.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and oversee daily, monthly, and annual inventory audits and transfers between plant and distribution centers.
  • Reconcile physical inventory counts to system records (Oracle EBS) and investigate discrepancies.
  • Partner with Distribution Manager and other DCs to ensure accurate product movement and reporting.
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve inventory accuracy and control.
  • Act as a key point of contact for inventory-related shipments, special orders, and fulfillment coordination.
  • Create invoices, process credits, and support order fulfillment activities.
  • Support yard operations as needed, including load verification, inventory audits, and pallet fulfillment.
  • Ensure compliance with site-level regulatory and reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate pallet repair orders (internal and external) and track pallet movement across DCs.
  • Assist with ordering, receiving, and tracking goods and services within the department.
  • Support vendor communication to ensure timely delivery and accurate billing.
  • Supervise and support yard team members.
  • Provide direction, training, and performance feedback to team members.
  • Support the Distribution Manager in driving operational efficiency and accountability.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation using Oracle EBS and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Prepare and update reports, spreadsheets, and operational documents.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including occasional regional travel.
