Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory management, preferably within the pharmaceutical or consumer goods industry.
  • 1+ year in a supervisory role.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in inventory management software.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Excellent, professional communications skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Data management experience with ERP systems such as PeopleSoft or SAP.
  • Proficient with Microsoft SQL and experience with Power BI.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with warehouse management systems such as Blue Yonder (JDA).
  • Comparable supply chain experience and familiarization with the health care industry.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage inventory levels for Consumer and Pharmaceutical products.
  • Ensure daily inventory operations, including cycle counts, audits, adjustments and reconciliations.
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Generate regular inventory reports for management, highlighting key metrics and performance indicators.
  • Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulations, company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Manufacturing, Planning, and Logistics teams to align inventory levels with business needs.
  • Address and resolve inventory-related issues promptly and effectively.
  • Directly fix system variances in PeopleSoft, JOA, and/or Blue Yonder.
