About The Position
Empire Today is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to join our dynamic team. The Inventory Control Specialist (Distribution Center) completes warehouse activities to manage and improve inventory accuracy, job quality, and customer satisfaction. These duties include but are not limited to Cycle, quality and accuracy of physical inventory storage, quarantine or other segregation of inventory, return-to-vendor processing, and product/bin labeling, zoning, and slotting. The Inventory Control Specialist (Distribution Center) is responsible for inventory variances in the DC and will interact daily with supervisors and managers to correct gaps in inventory process or storage. This position requires long periods of standing and lifting, as well as the proper use of a Microsoft warehouse management system.
