About The Position

The Inventory Control Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring inventory accuracy and managing replenishment activities across various warehouse locations. This position involves developing and implementing procedures for monitoring inventory levels, conducting cycle counts, and analyzing inventory reports to maintain optimal stock levels. The specialist will also assist management in enhancing inventory control processes and support operational logistics.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Order inventory control experience
  • Strong problem-solving ability
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Team player with a positive approach and desire for process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Process, review, and analyze inventory reports for replenishment activities.
  • Assist in identifying excess inventory for off-site movement and later replenishment.
  • Analyze metrics and recommend improvements for inventory control functions.
  • Provide operational support and assist in logistics planning and execution.
  • Document existing business processes impacting inventory for continuous improvement.
  • Support logistical areas during increased demand periods.
  • Develop a deep understanding of WMS features to facilitate issue resolution.
  • Maintain safety and report hazards immediately.
  • Ensure good housekeeping in personal and common areas.
