About The Position

The Inventory Control Specialist at Pneufast is responsible for managing and tracking inventory and the movement of materials throughout the supply chain. This role involves ensuring accurate inventory records, overseeing material movement, and maintaining organization within the warehouse. The specialist will work closely with the ERP system to facilitate efficient inventory management and support production operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of experience in manufacturing or distribution
• 1-2 years of experience in material handling or inventory management
• Experience using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent time management and ability to handle multiple tasks
• Data entry skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Microsoft Power BI
• Bilingual in Spanish

Responsibilities

• Manage material movement and receive materials from vendors, directing them to designated storage areas.
• Oversee production receipts of finished goods and work-in-progress components, verifying records and correcting errors.
• Approve production receipts and issue components to production runs.
• Audit material receiving processes in production departments for accuracy and adherence to procedures.
• Communicate with production departments and management to resolve material-related issues.
• Use reports to track materials received and used in production jobs.
• Document inventory lot numbers and locations as required.
• Perform physical inventory counts to confirm or correct inventory levels in the ERP system.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the warehouse and staging locations.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move materials throughout the facility.
