  • Works safely and supports safety within their team across the organization.
  • Performs receiving of product from vendor or intercompany deliveries.
  • Ensures that quantities of incoming shipment are correct.
  • Reviews purchase documents to ensure they are reflective of the quantity placed with vendor.
  • Handles discrepancies within limitations and scope of authority.
  • Maintains spreadsheet or process for discrepancies of incoming product.
  • Works with Purchasing to handle returns to vendors.
  • Maintains control over various types of inventories (e.g. raw materials, subassemblies, finished goods).
  • Ensures that inventories are secure, properly identified and readily accessible to authorized personnel.
  • Maintains a proactive approach to inventory control and advises management on improvements, potential cost savings, and order handling efficiencies.
  • Ensures product is stored in proper locations, labeled properly and that location and inventory information in the system is accurate.
  • Conducts cycle counts according to scheduled plan and on demand.
  • Records, tracks and reports all discrepancies and non-conforming items.
  • Reviews inventory turns on non-moving items for possible disposition.
  • Enters new stock into inventory and sets up the locations in facility.
  • Assists the warehouse and production with physical inventories.
  • Assists with schedule for calibration of scales and other counting machines in facility.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to facilitate optimal product flow thru the assigned departments.
  • Analyzes opportunities, develops and implements solutions to enhance the department.
  • Reliable, motivated, and hardworking.
  • Experience in inventory control or related field.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in using spreadsheets and inventory management systems.
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodology.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols in a warehouse environment.
