The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for the inventory accuracy in their assigned location. Through the use of company provided tools, the Inventory Control Specialist will monitor inventory accuracy, conduct cycle counting and wall to wall inventory activities, assist with any necessary reconciliation, closely assist building management to ensure all employees are following SOPs that ensure ongoing inventory accuracy, suggest improvements to processes and procedures to improve inventory accuracy, display and foster a culture of inventory accuracy and accountability, and support Inventory Control Manager as needed. Successful Inventory Control Specialists should have an impressive attention to detail, excellent observational skills, strong interpersonal communication skills, and be adept at problem solving. To succeed in the role, they should also possess a firm grasp of Microsoft office programs, the skills and desire to learn new software applications, and an ability to work both independently and in a team. Ideal candidates will have inventory or quality control experience. Inventory specialists can expect to work closely with management, assist in developing and improving procedures and policies, undertake inventory related projects, and help prevent losses.
