About The Position

The position is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and improving inventory accuracy. The position responsibilities center on cycle counting and assisting warehouse management with reconciling inventory variances at the location level on a timely basis. The position identifies deficiencies (lack of inventory control) and recommends process improvements.

Requirements

Ability tooperatematerial handling equipment
Ability to understand and calculate unit-of-measure conversions
Ability tomultitask while being highly organized
High school diploma or equivalent
A minimum of 2 to 3 years of inventory control experience is a plus

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management,logistics, or related field
Experience with non-durable goods manufacturing
Certificationin inventory management or related field

Responsibilities

Conduct daily cycle counts in a perpetual inventory environment.
Communicate cycle count results to Warehouse and Inventory Control Management.
Research cyclecountvariances toidentifyrootcauses.
Identifyprocess improvements that lead to improved inventory accuracy.
Identifyand correct discrepancies at the location level as needed.
Monitor all functions related to inventory transactions to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Provide management with detailed weekly reviews.
Develop andmaintaininventory-relatedspreadsheets.
Perform miscellaneous functions requested by supervisor/manager, which may include covering other areasin the event ofpersonnel shortages.
Willingness to accept varying shifts and schedules.
Understandingofcompany safety procedures and willingness to follow.
