Requirements

  • This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent
  • This position requires the ability to respond quickly to problems, and the ability to work in a stressful environment
  • This position requires the ability to communicate with co-workers, supervisors and managers
  • This position requires the ability to read and write small letters and numbers; the ability to make arithmetic calculations; and the ability to follow and understand written and oral instructions
  • This position requires some computer literacy
  • This position requires the utmost accuracy
  • This position requires the ability to lift objects weighing sixty (60) pounds floor to waist, waist to shoulder and shoulder to overhead
  • This position requires the ability to frequently walk and stand on concrete floors
  • This position requires the ability to sit for long periods of time working on a computer
  • This position requires the ability to do occasional neck flexions, extensions and twisting while sitting, standing or squatting
  • This position requires the ability to frequently bend and twist the back
  • This position requires the ability to finely manipulate and grip objects
  • This position requires the ability to climb, squat and reach overhead to gain access to higher and lower shelves

Responsibilities

  • Performing the inventory counts that are prepared for them on a daily basis
  • Daily cycle count
  • Walks to area of warehouse designated for counting
  • Counts all parts on shelf
  • Records the number of parts
  • Performs recounts after the initial cycle count
  • Recording and distributing clear and concise messages to internal staff
  • Preparing monthly reports for Inventory manager
