WeatherTech is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to audit inventory for accuracy, researching and reporting discrepancies, and making necessary adjustments to resolve discrepancies. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience in inventory management
  • Must successfully complete WeatherTech forklift certification program upon hire, including a written exam and hands on driving evaluation
  • Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and RF Scanners
  • Basic math and counting skills
  • Strong ability to research through utilization of strong computer skills
  • Strong organization/planning, analytical, and communication skills
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

  • Conduct cycle counts for stockrooms, verifying serial labels against actual net total on hand
  • Run various reports and compare physical counts of raw materials and components within ERP system
  • Compare system inventory to physical inventory and document all findings
  • Communicate with various departments and members of management to report inventory discrepancies
  • Research inventory discrepancies by following the movement of products throughout the ERP system; diagnose problems and communicate the necessary or recommended adjustments to management or resolve them independently when possible
  • Conduct root cause analysis to prevent occurrence of non-conformities
  • Make inventory record adjustments in ERP system
  • Operate powered industrial vehicles and pallet jacks to load/unload and transport materials, supplies, components, and finished product
  • Train new and existing team members on different functions to ensure all are able to perform all tasks properly; share knowledge and best practices to help aid efficiency and productivity
  • Perform all job functions in compliance with safety guidelines and company policies/procedures
  • Keep work area in a clean and orderly condition, clean and maintain equipment
  • Communicate clearly and work as part of a team
  • Work a Monday-Friday schedule, with voluntary and mandatory overtime as business demands
  • Perform other duties as assigned
