About The Position

As the Inventory Control Specialist, you’ll be responsible for all tasks required to maintain accurate inventory records, including daily cycle counting, reconciliation, and accurately maintaining inventory balances and movements. Additional duties will be to coordinate and participate in physical inventory events.

Requirements

  • Proven experience (at least 2 years) in inventory control, preferably in a Nutraceutical or Pharmaceutical business.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree or higher in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in managing inventory records.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
  • Proficient in analyzing data and generating insights to improve inventory processes.
  • Familiarity with inventory databases/reporting and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to identify and address inventory-related challenges with creative and effective solutions.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, ensuring proper organization and storage of products.
  • Perform daily cycle counts and reconcile actual stock count to verify inventory accuracy and address discrepancies promptly.
  • Verify warehouse picks to confirm the accuracy of part codes, quantities, and lot numbers.
  • Verify production RTS to confirm the accuracy of part codes, quantities, and lot numbers.
  • Perform data entry for various inventory transactions. Ensure that all documentation and databases match.
  • Generate and analyze reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and any variances to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide support throughout warehouse and production areas to ensure smooth processes are being maintained.
  • Continuous involvement with cross departmental policies and procedures to ensure SOP’s are always current.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
