Shift & pay for Inventory Control Specialist 1st Shift Monday-Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm Pay for 1st: $24.00 Overtime when needed

Requirements

• Prefer experience in a similar role.
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills.
• Able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Clearly present information to coworkers.
• Apply practical reasoning to written, oral, or diagrammed instructions.
• Strong math, computer, analytical, and reporting abilities.
• Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Excellent listening and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly physical inventory and cycle counts to maintain accurate perpetual inventory.
• Create and update detailed Excel/Google Sheets daily.
• Maintain high inventory accuracy through proper counting and discrepancy investigations.
• Work with Plant/Distribution Manager to assign ABC classifications and follow the inventory schedule.
• Ensure cycle counts are completed on time and in accordance with procedures.
• Research and resolve variances between physical and system counts.
• Maintain count records, data files, and daily cycle count reports.
• Track and report non-conforming product.
• Operate a forklift when certified.
