The individual will coordinate the disposal, return, and reallocation of obsolete items in the inventory. They will also file claims with manufacturers when defective goods are found in inventory and audit inventory on a regular basis, providing reports to management. Additionally, the role requires coordination with Buyers to keep up to date with the status of shipments and tracking information, and serving as a liaison with shipping companies to ensure the most timely and cost-effective shipping methods are utilized. The position also includes maintaining replenishment of logistics and distribution office supplies. Weekend coverage may be required for this position.
