About The Position

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Schedules and performs daily cycle counts in the warehouse using the RF scanners while operating Power Industrial Trucks (PIT). Investigates and reconciles inventory cycle count reports, reviewing for count discrepancies and taking necessary corrective actions. Assists in maintaining the accuracy of computer perpetual inventory and identifying variances for correction. Assists in identifying variances in the computer perpetual inventory and makes corrections. Prepares and participates in annual cycle count audits. Initiates corrective measures for damaged or short-dated products found in the warehouse Assists in organizing and consolidating stocks in the warehouse to optimize space and efficiency. Provides administrative support to the Warehouse Shipping and Receiving team and assists with material handling as needed. Pulls product samples for Sales, Marketing, HR, R&D, QC or other departments. Releases and initiates toll tickets and transacts product quantities. Enters information in Oracle and maintains electronic or physical records. Communicates potential quality issues and addresses FEFO and inventory transfer errors. Contributes to maintaining organization and cleanliness and ensuring proper storage of materials. Adheres to safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements at all times. Manufacturing Area and Toll Responsibilities: Analyzes rework documents, create rework lots, and perform adjustments. Continuous monitoring of Manufacturing workstations, conducting regular inventory counts, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with Production leads and Document Specialists in maintaining organization in staging areas and assists in resolving discrepancies. Assists Doc Support teams for the timely completion and closing of batch tickets. Supports and orients new employees with Oracle functions relating to inventory movements, including batch consumptions. Investigates, communicates, and reconciles MFG inbound or outbound transfer discrepancies. Monitors Batch issue alerts and perform analysis and corrections. Monitors movements of inventory in Rejected, ICMC, GNPD, RWRK, or non-good status. Assists in researching errors in production tickets and warehouse transfers. Helps process Toll Tickets and reviews Toll reconciliation documents to ensure the accuracy of lot numbers. Assists in communicating Toll discrepancies to Purchasing or Toll Vendors. SAFETY RESPONSIBILITY STATEMENT Supports a culture of safe production and exhibits safe work practices. Actively participates in the safety program by engaging in safety activities. Effectively provides and accepts constructive peer-to-peer feedback on safety performance. Adheres to policies, procedures, SOPs, safe work practices, and safety policies and procedures. Reports ALL workplace incidents to their supervisor immediately. Communicate concerns to a supervisor, report hazards, and provide input on prevention. Properly uses, wears, and stores Personal Protective Equipment when required. Participates in safety teams and/or completes safety-related activities as part of regular job responsibilities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma and one-year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to communicate effectively to groups of customers or employees.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals to understand weights and measures.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with various concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret various instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Moderate level of computer data entry experience required, including experience and skills with Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Good time management skills; ability to prioritize and calmly handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment; demonstrate a strong sense of urgency; and work in different work centers as business needs require.
  • Strong teamwork skills; ability to work and communicate effectively with others; strong attention to detail skills; and demonstrated high quality of work.
  • Ability to earn certification and operate a Powered Industrial Truck (i.e. Turret Truck, Order Picker, Reach Truck).
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, to support the business.
