About The Position

The Inventory Control Specialist 3 at Tower Semiconductor is responsible for managing inventory control and providing analytical support to the manufacturing facility. This role involves coordinating material flow, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring that materials are available to meet manufacturing needs. The position requires collaboration with the procurement team and involves various tasks such as stock transactions, physical inventory counts, and quality monitoring.

Requirements

• H.S. diploma or equivalent.
• Strong Microsoft Office knowledge (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to provide solutions to a variety of difficult problems.
• ERP and SAP experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates material flow through various levels of receiving inspection.
• Inputs, updates, and verifies computer-related systems to maintain an up-to-date status of materials.
• Handles routine questions and problems while maintaining communication with other departments.
• Logs order information into the computer and distributes paperwork as necessary.
• Maintains records and generates reports for accounting, customer support, and supply chain management.
• Maintains inventories in SAP and monitors inventories on the third-party warehouse website.
• Performs physical inventories and quality checks on incoming deliveries.
• Transacts material movement in SAP and maintains spreadsheets.
