Requirements

  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to work in an environment with frequently changing and competing priorities.
  • Ability to navigate web-based ICQA reporting and forms (such as Microsoft SharePoint/Microsoft Forms/Smartsheet).
  • Six-Sigma/Lean Thinking/Quality Management/Continuous Improvement/Process Engineering experience.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to a variety of audiences; strong reasoning and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical, operational research, root cause, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to motivate teams and manage conflict; ability to provide feedback and develop team.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and effectively communicate necessary policies and procedures to others.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee assigned ICQA responsibilities and supervise a group of ICQA team members and Inbound Problem Solvers.
  • Provide leadership & development, coaching, and performance management of the training team.
  • Provide frequent constructive and critical feedback on work quality to enhance individual performance.
  • Guide and direct team members, leading, developing, and administering performance management, reviews, corrective actions, and terminations.
  • Oversee onboarding and completion of required training for new hires.
  • Support overall continued enhancement of the team's capability.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Root cause quality defects and pre-receipt defects within the operation.
  • Analyze the site's operating methods and procedures to identify gaps in inventory control and quality assurance.
  • Lead improvements within inbound receipts, bin and location accuracy, order cancels, and other quality indicators identified through process audits.
  • Identify and escalate vendor trends in pre-receipt defects and damages.
  • Determine appropriate methods and problem-solving tools to use and implement new practices/procedures.
  • Lead kaizen and continuous improvement events.
  • Implement innovative and creative ways to achieve desired results while collaborating across multiple operational departments.
