Inventory Control Quality Assurance Auditor (Warehouse)
About The Position
The Inventory Control and Quality Assurance (ICQA) Auditor will validate product to be delivered to customers as part of a process to measure outbound selection accuracy. This role involves assisting with research and resolution of errors. The auditor will validate physical product matches the customer order using a handheld scanner, comparing scanned product to system billed quantity. They will also scan and unload product to the floor, performing a physical count, and root cause any errors found by reviewing actual and surrounding pick slots. Mis-select errors and shortages are corrected based on customer contracts. After validation, product is reloaded onto pallets and returned to the dock or trailer. The auditor is also responsible for quality checks related to pallet construction, ensuring products are wrapped, stacked, positioned well, and in good condition. This position supports C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC, an industry leader in supply chain solutions and wholesale grocery supply, with a mission to help feed local families, neighbors, and communities.
Requirements
- High School Diploma - General Studies or General Equivalency Diploma - General Studies.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, pull, stoop, grip, carry, and lift objects from 20lbs to 60 lbs.
- 0-2 years of experience.

- Experience with warehouse and inventory management systems and software.
Responsibilities
- Validate physical product matches the customer order using a handheld scanner.
- Scan and unload product to the floor performing a physical count to the scanner count.
- Root cause all errors found by reviewing actual and surrounding pick slots.
- Correct all mis-select errors and shortages as necessary based on the customer contract.
- Reload audited product onto pallet and return to dock or trailer.
- Carry out quality checks related to pallet construction (product wrapped, stacked and positioned well on pallet and in good condition).
- Unload pallets by operating electronic pallet jack or identify random pallet not yet loaded for audit.
