About The Position

The primary objective of the Inventory Control position is to ensure all outgoing shipments, stock locations, and quantities are accurate. This role involves inspecting all assigned warehouse locations, providing answers to management concerning the quality and quantity of products, and performing daily stock checks of questionable products. The individual will document all errors found during any research pertaining to the outbound process and inspect the quality of all shipping materials. Additionally, the position requires identifying problems in all areas and notifying appropriate management personnel, ensuring strict compliance with established quality policies and procedures, and communicating quality standards to assist warehouse personnel in complying with established operating practices and procedures. The role also involves completing all required paperwork accurately and timely, working safely, and keeping the supervisor informed of important developments and potential problems.

Requirements

  • High School education or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in related position or field.
  • Ability to work a schedule based on the understanding of responsibilities and priorities.
  • Ability to accurately read and match numbers.
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written directions and communicate to personnel.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and work in a manner that promotes a safe working environment.
  • Ability to contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Ability to obtain equipment license or power equipment certification as required.
  • Demonstrates Northern Tool + Equipment's 12 Core Competencies.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect all assigned warehouse locations.
