About The Position

The Inventory Control Lead will oversee the Inventory Control team, ensuring all inventory functions are executed efficiently. This role involves conducting daily cycle counts, maintaining accurate inventory reports, and utilizing inventory control software such as Numina and Oracle. The position requires adaptability to changing demands and the ability to maximize resources based on daily requirements. Additionally, the lead will support cross-training initiatives and continuous improvement methodologies within the distribution center (DC). A commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment is essential, along with performing other duties as required.

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in warehouse/distribution setting with 3+ in inventory control.
  • High School or GED diploma required.
  • RF experience.
  • Inventory Control experience with cycle counting, discrepancy resolutions and overall inventory practices.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Word experience a must.
  • Previous forklift experience strongly preferred – specifically cherry picker, sit down and reach.
  • Standing, Bending & Lifting.
  • Lifting requirement up to 50 lbs.
  • Math skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Hardworking, action-oriented, and results driven.
  • Willingness to cooperate and accept added responsibilities.
  • Ability to work well with all co-workers and management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Inventory Control team in all inventory functions.
  • Execute daily cycle counts and research.
  • Ensure all daily, weekly, and monthly inventory tasks and reports are kept up to date and accurate.
  • Maintain good working knowledge of Numina and Oracle shipping, receiving and inventory control software.
  • Ability to recognize and adjust to changing demands.
  • Ability to maximize resources based on daily requirements.
  • Support DC cross training initiatives and 5 S continuous improvement methodology.
  • Support the DC Office clerk as needed.
  • Help maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Perform all other duties as required.
