This position performs inventory control I functions to cover internal customer requests and requirements, including inventory and shipment of product goods.

Requirements

Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required.
1 year of demonstrated experience working in a warehouse required.
Must be able to read and understand Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and various other documents and instructions.
Must demonstrate the ability and willingness to follow supervisory instructions.
Must have good problem-solving skills.
Must have the ability to operate equipment that is assigned in the warehouse.
Effective communication skills with fluency in English required.
To be eligible for promotion to Inventory Control II, the employees must obtain full certification of level I for the inventory control functions.

Responsibilities

Operates forklift, pallet jacks and other associated warehouse equipment.
Conveys materials and items from production, warehouse, staging, or shipping areas as directed.
Marks materials with identifying information and labels for all products.
Uses handheld bar code scanner.
Opens cartons, bales, crates, and other containers and ensure shipments are undamaged. Notes any discrepancies.
Performs area housekeeping duties including trash dumping, sweeping, and organizing work areas.
Abides by all safety rules and regulations.
Ability to memorize all 25 Systems Applications & Products (SAP) T-code transactions related to inventory control Level I.
Ability to work alternate shifts, as assigned, to meet business needs.
Complete all mezzanine tasks and perform other related duties as assigned.
Other duties as assigned.
