About The Position

The Inventory Control Forklift Driver is responsible for supporting the Asset Protection Supervisor in maintaining workflow and inventory count processes. This part-time role involves operating a forklift and collaborating with the Inventory Control team to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for members by conducting inventory counts, sorting damaged items, and managing returns. The position emphasizes safety, service excellence, and teamwork while adhering to company policies and standards.

Requirements

• Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and computer skills.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and courteous service to members.
• Maintain high standards of safety, service, and sanitation.
• Accurately process damaged or defective merchandise following appropriate procedures.
• Obtain return authorizations from vendors and process vendor chargebacks.
• Track, plan, coordinate, and execute department inventory counts as prescribed by Home Office.
• Maintain correct stock status for damaged, defective, and returned merchandise.
• Conduct daily club safety walks and escalate findings to the Asset Control Inventory Supervisor.
• Support Inventory Control Count Team in executing count processing as assigned.
• Review daily return reports and process merchandise recalls.
• Ensure the department is organized and clean, following established safety standards.
• Complete necessary training and annual safety re-certifications to operate a forklift.
