Job Description: Job Title: Distribution Inventory Coordinator Department: Distribution FLSA: Non-Exempt General Function: Assists with counting, inventory, product management and packet configuration. Core Competencies: Partnerships Growth mindset Results oriented Customer focused Professionalism Reporting Relations: Accountable and Reports to: Inventory Control Manager; Inventory Control Assistant Manager; Inventory Control Department Manager; Warehouse Manager Positions that Report to you: None Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Processes inventory documentation on WMS system. 30% Assists in slotting new merchandise, measuring cases, maintaining pallet configuration, proper description, UPC and size of merchandise. 20% Assists with cycle counting. 20% Assists with other duties such as: problem pallets, hold area, new locations, code dating, etc. 20% Coordinates with purchasing department and other distribution departments. 10% Reports to work when scheduled and on time. Secondary Duties and Responsibilities: (These are considered occasional in nature) Distributes reports as outlined by supervisors. Performs other job related duties and special projects as required. Supervisory Responsibilities: None Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Worker Characteristics: Must have ability to solve practical problems; variety of variables with limited standardization; interpret instructions. Must have ability to interpret verbal or written work instructions; write identifying information; file, post, and mail materials; copy data from one record to another; and evaluate technical data. Must have ability to perform arithmetic calculations involving fractions, decimals, and percentages.

Requirements

  • Must have ability to solve practical problems; variety of variables with limited standardization; interpret instructions.
  • Must have ability to interpret verbal or written work instructions; write identifying information; file, post, and mail materials; copy data from one record to another; and evaluate technical data.
  • Must have ability to perform arithmetic calculations involving fractions, decimals, and percentages.
  • High school or equivalent experience.
  • One to three years of similar or related work experience.
  • Must be physically able to perform light work: exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally to move objects.
  • Visual requirements include vision from 20 inches or less to 20 feet or more with or without correction, depth perception, color vision, and field of vision.
  • Must be able to perform the following physical activities: Reaching, stooping, kneeling, standing, walking, fingering, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions

Responsibilities
