Summary: Provide system support for Operations and maintain inventory accuracy (physical and systematic) Qualifications and Experience: At least 2 years’ experience in comparable role. Knowledge of petrochemical industry and processes. Ideally, experience in logistic operations. Experience with SAP, preferred. Associate or certification in logistics and supply chain management, preferred. Forklift Experience/Certified and/or willing to be trained to be Forklift Certified. Position Requirements: Provide system support as need to operations. Reconciliation of physical and systematic inventory. Analyze data and transactions in different information systems (Excel, SAP-EWM, GEMS, among others). Conduct daily production write on and cycle counts. Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies to ensure ongoing inventory accuracy, both physically and systematically. Track multiple departmental responsibilities, such as blocked bins/pallets, scrap, partial consumption (rework), loss damage reports, etc. Report any type of problems with each area (Inbound, Outbound, P&S and S&D) Carry out daily inventory reports, such as Product Distribution Report (PDR), Good Issues, Daily Operations Presentation, CSV files, Write on / off, among others. Performs additional duties as assigned by management. Important Personal Skills: Able to work outside in variable weather conditions including high temperature summer months. Ability to work independently and have the drive to take the initiative if direct supervision is not available on a constant basis. Ability to work well under pressure. Strong verbal, written communication, and time management skills. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks to efficiently manage workload. Ability to work well in a fast-paced and high-intensity environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office (word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software). Ability to learn new software systems and tasks quickly. Ability to interact effectively at multiple levels in support of customer relationships. Ability to have a problem-solving approach. Must be able to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) without restriction and pass any medical examination associated with the use of said PPE. 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S. Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check. Fluent English.
