About The Position

The Inventory Control Coordinator will accurately and efficiently aid the flow of raw materials and finished goods while also working closely with shipping, warehouse and production teams to ensure inventory accuracy. Ability to work well both independently and with others in a team environment. Maintain inventory databases and generate reports

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Advanced computer knowledge with JDE knowledge preferred
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Above average communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet safety, quality and production requirements
  • Ability to become forklift certified within 30 days of start date as an Inventory Control Coordinator.
  • Ability to perform standing job for 8 to 12 consecutive hours (depending on shift length).
  • Remain stationary extended periods of time.
  • Move around production floor.
  • Must be able to walk, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, reach and grasp for varying periods of time during a consecutive 8- to 12-hour period (depending on shift length).
  • Ability to walk, stand, squat and climb regularly.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds occasionally

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and with applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agencies.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in performing a variety of tasks across multiple functional areas.
  • Conduct cycle count inventory processors to ensure accuracy; includes raw materials, finished goods, and WIP audits daily
  • Maintain accurate inventory records of finished goods
  • Responding to inquiries regarding inventory of finished goods
  • Coordinate each period-end physical count of raw materials and finished goods; including accurate and on time paperwork and data entry is completed
  • Cycle counts of all finished goods locations
  • Review, analyze and adjust inventory discrepancies
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
  • Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.
