Requirements
- High school or equivalent diploma
- Minimum of five (5) years of electrical distribution or electrical wholesale experience
- Knowledge of inventory system (Eclipse ERP experience preferred)
- Experience using an RF scanner
- Clear and concise communication skills
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams and Outlook
Responsibilities
- Perform daily cycle counts of raw materials, packaged materials, finished goods, and non-conforming materials
- Operate RF scanners, hand-held devices, and ERP systems (e.g., Eclipse) to confirm material quantities and locations.
- Utilize manual lifts, reach trucks, and transfer equipment safely (requires applicable training and certification).
- Ensure materials are stored in proper locations; investigate and resolve misclassified inventory.
- Report inventory discrepancies, including overages, shortages, and damaged goods, to supervision.
- Publish weekly and quarterly inventory metrics and performance reports.
- Conduct root cause analysis on inventory issues and recommend process improvements.
- Train warehouse staff on inventory control procedures, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
- Develop and maintain SOPs and training materials specific to electrical distribution logistics.
- Lead onboarding sessions for new hires and provide ongoing training for existing team members.
- Promote full-time and proper use of PPE and uphold all safety and quality procedures.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned to support logistics and inventory operations.
