Requirements

  • HS Diploma, G.E.D. equivalent or equivalent experience required.
  • One to two years' experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
  • Experience with Inventory Control practices and data analysis preferred.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Results-oriented with the ability to accomplish work in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work unsupervised on assigned tasks.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills, especially in process improvement and problem solving.
  • Highly developed organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Intermediate to advanced familiarity with MS Excel.
  • Ability to handle multiple high priority tasks/projects concurrently.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the control and communication around field/distributor inventory both physically and systematically.
  • Monitor, trace, and reconcile inventory.
  • Support department goals to optimize field inventory levels and protect company assets.
  • Elevate customer satisfaction through effective inventory management.
  • Use inventory systems such as SMS, ZSIS, DCS, and Fed-ex programs to loan, receive, ship, issue, and monitor inventory.
  • Investigate inventory variances and disputed inventory.
  • Work cross-departmentally to identify root causes and recommend solutions.
  • Facilitate the return/exchange of expiry dated/calibrated products between warehouse and field personnel.
  • Generate regular weekly/monthly reporting and ad-hoc reporting.
  • Review and reconcile missing/late inventory reports daily.
  • Support communication and administrative functions related to the termination of distributor inventory accounts.
  • Assist with strategic inventory request and fulfillment.
  • Monitor and assist with asset placement and recovery through collaboration with sales and operations.
  • Coordinate and accurately log inventory outflow of loose inventory requests.
  • Conduct cycle counts in offices and accounts.
  • Perform all duties in compliance with applicable regulations and standards such as FDA Quality System Regulation and ISO.
