About The Position

This position is responsible for the tasks associated with the management of inventory at the assigned facility. Specific tasks would include, but are not limited to purchasing and receiving of inventory, tracking and reconciliation of inventory balances, and selection of product and supplies under the direction of the supervisor. Responsible for purchasing and receiving inventory, tracking and reconciliation of inventory balances. Responsible for the selection of product and supplies under the direction of the supervisor. Manage return goods according to standard operating procedures. Monitor product trends and shortages to ensure proper inventory levels are maintained. Ensure pharmacy pick and pack stations are properly stocked with medication and supplies. Assist in maintaining dispensing and back stock refrigerators and freezers in a well organized manner. Responsible for filing inventory and SOX documentation. Work with Inventory CDR to assist in cycle counting functions. Monitor and pull short dated or expired product from active inventory. Maintain the Pharmacy in a clean, orderly, and professional manner. Other duties, as assigned.

Requirements

  • One year professional work experience
  • Able to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Must be detail oriented and have excellent organizational skills
  • Able to apply mathematical concepts to inventory functions
  • Basic typing/data entry skills
  • Must be able to learn and utilize computer applications to communicate information, record data accurately
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures
  • This position requires the ability to prioritize and to manage time efficiently
  • Must be able to lift 50-70 pounds
  • Must be able to stand, walk and lift for the duration of the shift

Nice To Haves

  • One year experience in a warehouse, purchasing and/or inventory environment
  • Six months computer experience in a Windows based system
  • Three months of work experience in a pick/pack/ship environment
