About The Position

An Inventory Control Coordinator job in Temperance, MI is available at MI Windows and Doors. You must have two plus years of relevant experience with incoming inventory and cycle counting. You will be the gatekeeper tasked with running daily cycle counts and a key member of our month end inventory process. In addition, you will also support the receiving and materials team with daily tasks to support the production lines.

Requirements

• One to two years of incoming inventory/materials experience in a manufacturing setting
• Associates Degree preferred
• Knowledge of data base software
• Proficient in basic algebra and geometry with the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
• Ability to lift 75 pounds unassisted
• Ability to self-manage and multi-task
• Ability to work in, and promote, a team environment

Responsibilities

• Perform daily plant walk-through to check inventory (packaged goods, material, finished goods)
• Daily cycle counting
• Help Maintain inventory databases
• Key inventory counts and make system adjustments on any discrepancies
• Receive raw material and verify against the packing slip. Accurately code received goods to a proper account.
• Back up to support supplying material as needed and/or requested to the production line, and other departments
• Demonstrate MI's Core Values in all business interactions.
