About The Position

The Inventory Control Coordinator II at Cox Automotive is responsible for managing the location's tracker inventory and ensuring accurate reconciliation of billing invoices. This role involves overseeing the retrieval of trackers that require further attention and determining the necessary corrective actions. The coordinator is also tasked with returning defective trackers to Cox2M and ensuring that the user interface and billing accurately reflect returns and new orders. Additionally, the position requires monitoring vehicle inventory volume and fluctuations to proactively anticipate changes in inventory levels, coordinating with management and the Global Inventory Control Manager (GCM) to manage these levels effectively. The coordinator must be able to review and comprehend the inventory analytics dashboard and adhere to project metrics, while also proactively communicating status updates to leadership and identifying opportunities for the location to achieve or exceed lot operations goals. Furthermore, the role involves monitoring and collaborating with teams to address issues that may lead to inventory leakage.

Requirements

  • Experience in inventory control or related field

  • Proficient in using inventory management software and tools

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for location's tracker inventory and reconciliation of billing invoices
  • Manages the retrieval of trackers that require further attention (RFA) and determines corrective action
  • Responsible for returning defective trackers to Cox2M, ensuring user interface and billing accurately reflects returns and new orders
  • Monitors vehicle inventory volume and fluctuations to proactively anticipate spikes or changes in inventory levels and coordinates with Management and GCM to manage inventory levels accordingly
  • Ability to review and comprehend the inventory analytics dashboard and adherence to project metrics
  • Proactively communicates status to Leadership and Global Inventory Control Manager (GCM); identifies opportunities to enable location to achieve / exceed lot operations goals
  • Proactively monitors and works with team(s) to address issues to prevent leakage

Benefits

  • Hourly base pay rate of $17.69 - $26.54/hour
