About The Position
Harborview Medical Center has an outstanding opportunity for a full-time Inventory Control Coordinator. This position is part of the UW Medicine Supply Chain Management, which serves all UW Medicine facilities, including Harborview, UW Medical Center-Montlake, UW Medical Center-Northwest, and various clinics. The department provides operational and technical support, ensuring effective supply chain management across the organization. The Inventory Control Coordinator will organize and lead staff in conducting periodic inventory counts, adjusting quantities and locations, and recording and reporting discrepancies to management. The role includes responsibility for procedural area inventories in specific labs and respective Point of Use systems for Harborview Medical Center. The position requires collaboration with Supply Chain leadership to reduce expenses and standardize inventory control strategies, while also ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies.
