About The Position

The Inventory Control Clerk monitors and maintains inventory levels, processes and tracks supply orders, and keeps accurate logs/records.

Requirements

• A high school education or GED required
• Communication and basic reading and mathematical skills required
• Valid NY State driver's license required
• Must be able to lift 35lbs

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of shipping, receiving and inventory control preferred

Responsibilities

• Accept and audit incoming shipments of office and facilities supplies
• Store supplies, monitor inventory to ensure established levels are maintained, and inform the Purchasing Specialist of the need to reorder
• Process and track supply orders
• Ensure that the headquarters department breakrooms are stocked with supplies in the cabinets and replenish supplies on the counter dispensers twice a day
• Ensure all items are barcoded and scanned during order fulfillment to automatically update stock levels and support timely reordering of supplies.
• Help the Mailroom Clerk to collect and put back the shredding bins from the department suites once a week
• Conduct inventory on a monthly basis
• May occasionally perform the duties of a Mailroom Clerk
• Perform other duties as needed upon request by immediate supervisor
