About The Position

Anchor Fabrication, the third largest metal fabrication company in the United States, located in Lavergne, TN is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk to join our team! ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include, but are not limited to the following; other duties may be applied. Physical Requirements With or Without Accommodation Receive purchased and manufactured materials into the appropriate warehouse. Review all incoming move tickets and packing slips for proper disposition. Place material into the appropriate bin location. Reconcile any discrepancies with appropriate persons. Issue or transfer materials form stockroom. Review open order reports, pick lists, or job travelers to determine material to be pulled. Check inventory status by item and location to determine availability. Issue or transfer material to required location. Drive a tow motor and upright lift. Load and unload trucks. Cycle counting of parts. Research inventory discrepancies and draw conclusions for cause. Manage complete physical inventory of assigned area. Maintain order in warehouse by utilizing methods such as consolidation of like parts, reorganizing bin locations, set up work in process locations. Maintenance of WIP locations and accuracy Keep warehouse clean and organized. Monitor negative inventory on daily basis. Ensure receipts, disbursements, transfers or shipments keyed into inventory control system. Prepare itemized documents for issuing of materials.

Requirements

  • Mechanically adept
  • Attention to detail.
  • Able to prioritize and work under schedule demands.
  • Good communication skills
  • Computer literate – MRP Experience necessary.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
