About The Position

The Inventory Control Clerk role is primarily responsible for working as part of a team to ensure warehouse inventory accuracy through the use of cycle counts and other auditing procedures. You are able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and problem-solve effectively to reconcile and issues/discrepancies contributing positively to the accuracy and maintenance of inventory records.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1.5+ years of related experience in a distribution environment
  • Experience utilizing various types of warehouse equipment and systems and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Must have English proficiency (speaking and understanding)
  • Basic math skills are required to understand location quantities, thresholds and capacity
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills for investigating discrepancies
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships within the distribution center
  • Able to lift items up to 35 lbs
  • Able to actively walk the warehouse floor; and stand for extended periods up to 12 hours
  • Must be willing to work overtime as needed, including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily scheduled cycle counts and audits using RF devices and manual tracking sheets
  • Maintain clear, concise and detailed records of all counting activities
  • Provide inventory information and if needed, adjust based on physical verification and WM research
  • Analyze inventory discrepancies by researching variances using multiple data points and identifying root cause by formulating recommendations for improvement of inventory accuracy. This includes, but is not limited to, location variances, picks short research and canceled order reconciliation
  • Research inventory discrepancies such as inventory movements between locations, short picks during order fulfillment and canceled outbound PO and/or cartons
  • Audit outbound shipments for Ecommerce, Wholesale and Retail customers to ensure accuracy
  • Assist with inventory reporting, providing detailed reports on stock levels, discrepancies, and adjustments
  • Assist with VAS projects, as requested, and be willing to transfer to other departments as needed to support other areas of the operation
  • Adhere to Tory Burch Safety Standards, Standard Operating Procedures, and Code of Conduct
  • Complete all other duties, as assigned
