About The Position

We are seeking an Inventory Control Clerk for our Little Chute, WI plant. The Inventory Control Clerk is working under the leadership of our Materials Supervisor and in close partnership with local manufacturing leadership. This role is critical in optimizing the purchasing process and ensuring that the organization meets its operational goals efficiently. This is a 1st shift, on-site position with some limited travel between our Little Chute and Appleton facilities. There is some schedule flexibility in this role.

Requirements

High school diploma / GED required (some post high school education a plus)
Forklift experience
Proficient in Microsoft programs such as Excel and Word
Ability to prepare routine paperwork and receive, stock, and/or deliver goods
Must have good interpersonal skills
Willingness to seek out resolution when issues arise

Nice To Haves

ERP knowledge with the ability to analyze and solve problems
Metals Manufacturing experience
Project Management experience
PO creation and tracking experience
Shipping & Receiving experience

Responsibilities

Monitor inventory levels and manage reordering processes, working closely with the corporate sourcing team.
Forklift and Pallet Jack usage.
Utilizing ERP, Kanban and various order initiation processes to generate demand, validate inventory.
Monitor and maintain current inventory levels for accuracy
Perform cycle count activities - ensure all inventory is accounted for and reported according to company policy
Investigate, identify, and report inventory discrepancies to management for correction
Coordinate and participate in inventory put away and consolidation
