About The Position

Under the direction of the Manager/Supervisor/Lead Person, the Inventory Control associate monitors inventory levels to ensure accuracy and proper stock rotation. Also, responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and/or Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect assuring the quality and quantity of product produced. Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Effective written communication skills, including legibility.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Must be licensed to operate lift equipment (Licensing may be through internal or external training)
  • Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Must be able to use a calculator proficiently to perform rapid and accurate computations
  • Must be computer literate within an inventory control environment
  • Must be team-oriented and willing to work collaboratively with management team
  • Must be detailed oriented and accurate

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
  • Prior manufacturing or warehousing experience preferred
  • preferably Bilingual in English and Spanish (or at least a working knowledge of Spanish)

Responsibilities

  • Prepares reports to replenish picking inventory
  • Coordinates transfers and sample/stability product requests
  • Performs and enters counts into inventory system
  • Researches and assists with discrepancies in inventory
  • Identify and report issues/errors
  • Assist in the implementation of procedures to prevent errors
  • Collects and prepares pull down requests for packers
  • Logs cube and weight for new items
  • Positions forklifts, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials and transports load to designated area
  • Loads or unloads materials onto or off of pallets, skids, or lifting device. Must be able to document information as per SOP
  • Complies with company policies and procedures and maintains regular work attendance
  • Personal responsibility for following safety rules, SOPs and/or cGMP guidelines
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • As necessary, performs other related functions of which the above are representative.
