About The Position

The incumbent in this position is responsible for administering and overseeing an Inventory Management System for the Mohegan Facilities Management department. This role is responsible for ensuring an accurate tracking of assets, equipment, consumables, and supplies across all Mohegan Facilities Management divisions. The Inventory Control Clerk will work with management to define storage locations and par levels; and update the system for purchases, depletions, and adjustments.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated understanding of inventory control principles and best practices
  • High proficiency with database/software systems for tracking assets and supplies
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively internally and externally both written and verbally
  • Ability to coordinate across multiple departments with varied operational needs
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work with Microsoft Office business tools
  • Associate’s degree in business, logistics, or related field
  • Three (3) years of facilities department inventory, logistics, warehouse, or asset management experience
  • High School Diploma
  • Five (5) years of facilities department inventory, logistics, warehouse, or asset management experience
  • Valid driver’s license from state of residence
  • Occasional lifting of up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to conduct inventory counts and physical inspections of inventory
  • Ability to work in adverse conditions such as extreme cold and extreme heat, dust, noise, and wetness
  • Ability to perform around mechanical hazards, moving objects and mechanical equipment
  • Standard daytime schedule with occasional extended hours during audits or system updates
