We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Inventory Control Clerk to ensure inventory accuracy within our warehouse environment. The role involves conducting physical counts, recording and validating counts, and addressing variances, all while maintaining high levels of inventory precision. This position requires routine interaction with team members, occasional work at heights, and a commitment to improving inventory and location accuracy.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Strong experience with cycle counting and inventory control.
  • Ability to use IFS to update counts and generate reports (spreadsheets, count reports).
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to operate a forklift as needed.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and accountable.
  • Ability to follow and adhere to safety procedures.
  • Ability to lift and manipulate items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable working at heights and performing frequent tasks such as climbing, bending, twisting, lifting (20–25 lbs.), and walking.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with order picking is a plus.
  • Forklift experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Research and resolve inventory location issues, including mystery pallets and inventory discrepancies.
  • Investigate inventory shrinkage and notify the department manager of any findings.
  • Perform daily cycle counts on all warehouse inventories.
  • Collaborate with others to enhance inventory and location accuracy.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned.
