This position is for a customer start-up site in Olive Branch, MS to support logistics and order fulfillment within the computer hardware industry . It is within a new, climate-controlled facility. Position: Third (3rd) Shift Inventory Control Clerk Shift: 10:00pm-6:00am, Monday-Friday (Overtime required as needed) Pay: $20.35 per hour Shift Differential: $1.00 per hour Be part of the world’s largest logistics company! Shape your world. Role Purpose: Responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy by verifying all inbound and outbound orders. Insure that inventory entries and adjustments are reflected accurately in the warehouse management system.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Six months warehousing and inventory experience, preferred
Nice To Haves
- A minimum of 1 year's experience operating Reach Truck and stand-up Dock Stocker, Order Picker.
- A minimum of 6 month's experience in Inventory Control to include: Cycle Count, auditing, reporting inventory discrepancies, receiving inventory, monitoring inventory levels.
- At least 6 month’s experience with a WMS (Warehouse Management System) or similar systems such as JDA, Red Prairie, Blue Yonder, SAP, etc.
- Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment, preferred
Responsibilities
- Maintain inventory records.
- Perform daily inventory management procedures and duties.
- Coordinate physical inventory procedures and adjust system as necessary.
- Follow procedures to accurately adjust inventory for over/short, defective, and damaged product.
- Perform routine clerical assignments including filing invoices and maintaining records.
