If you have a strong background in inventory management, shipping/receiving, and collaborating with other branches on special orders and transfers, we want to hear from you.

Requirements

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to clearly communicate updates to employees.
  • Intermediate computer skills.
  • Self-starter with a positive attitude.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly appearance.
  • High school or equivalent.
  • Combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum one-year warehouse/purchasing related experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook and Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Place daily stock and emergency purchase orders.
  • Work with parts management on daily monthly returns to vendors.
  • Oversee inventory transfers to other locations.
  • Maintain Core Inventory and ensure cores are returned in timely manner.
  • Assist with receiving daily stock orders.
  • Contact applicable vendors to resolve any issues with shipment shortages or damages.
  • Process parts purchase orders and invoice once parts have been received.
  • Review end of day report for discrepancies.
  • Establish inventory controls, levels, and balance them for maximum turn rate.
  • Ensure parts are received and recorded into inventory properly.
  • Establish process for received parts to maximize efficiency.
  • Assign bin locations for new parts as needed.
  • Manage cycle count process.
  • Manage obsolescence to ensure that obsolete parts are returned in a timely manner.
  • Monitor aging parts and develop return process.
  • Ensure storage areas are neat, clean, and clearly labeled.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
