About The Position

The Inventory Control Clerk plays a vital role in ensuring inventory accuracy, cost control, and continuous improvement across production operations. This position supports the integrity of Production Batch Orders (PBOs), leads yield tracking initiatives, and serves as a key resource for inventory troubleshooting and training.

Requirements

Experience in inventory control, production support, or cost analysis preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in ERP systems (especially Microsoft D365).
Ability to train and mentor team members.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
MUST BE 18 YEARS OR OLDER

Responsibilities

PBO Review & Cost Control Review all PBOs prior to handoff to accounting.
Ensure consumption and Report As Finished (RAF) entries are accurate.
Identify and resolve major cost variances.
Yield Tracking & Improvement Monitor and track key production yields.
Collaborate with operations leadership on yield improvement projects.
Develop tools and reports to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Training & Support Train and develop Gatekeepers.
Serve as backup for Gatekeeper responsibilities as needed.
Inventory Accuracy Assist with cycle count program and physical inventory counts.
Use D365 to investigate and resolve inventory and yield discrepancies.
Purchasing Coordination Report and track damaged or defective raw materials.
Coordinate with the purchasing team to secure vendor credits.
Perform other duties as assigned.
