About The Position

Hello! We are looking for a dedicated Inventory Control Clerk to join the family! Del Real Foods is a traditional Mexican food manufacturer born out of a family farm. In this role, the Inventory Control Clerk will provide support to the Warehouse Department and Operations Department by accurately staging materials in a timely and organized manner to enable faster, more efficient operations. This position will also be responsible for maintaining accurate inventories to support the Purchasing Department.

Requirements

Stand-up and Reach Forklift certification required.
Demonstrates strong organizational skills.
Pays close attention to detail.
Capability of using computer inventory software.
Exhibits ability to read and interpret inventory reports, sales reports, and packing slips.
Demonstrates strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
Works well with a team.
Manages time efficiently.
Possesses broad knowledge of the range of store products and services.
Communicates clearly and effectively.
Demonstrates professional and polite demeanor with customers.
High School (College degree is a plus)
Computer skills and knowledge in inventory software and programs are a must
Minimum 1-2 years’ experience on the field (Food Industry is a plus)
Minimum 1-2 years’ experience operating the following equipment: Reach; Standup and pallet jack.

Responsibilities

Demonstrates high accuracy when counting physical stock and maintaining up-to-date inventory records.
Maintains detailed and organized logs of all products and supplies.
Consistently verifies physical inventory against computerized records with precision.
Promptly identifies and reports inventory discrepancies to management for resolution.
Receives deliveries in a timely and organized manner.
Efficiently assists in unloading inventory from delivery trucks.
Keeps the warehouse well-organized by properly placing and labeling inventory.
Actively monitors stock levels and restocks materials and products as needed.
Files all delivery and inventory receipts systematically for easy retrieval.
Utilizes software systems effectively to track orders, returns, and inventory levels.
Prepares accurate inventory reports detailing overstock, shortages, or missing items.
Presents inventory reports clearly and professionally to the Supervisor.
Ensures the stockroom remains clean, orderly, and compliant with safety standards.
Proactively rearranges the stockroom to accommodate new inventory efficiently.
Assists in maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment.
Identifies and removes defective or expired merchandise for return.
Prepares return shipments, including packing and creating accurate shipping labels.
Submits timely and appropriate orders to replenish inventory stock.
Retrieves inventory items promptly to fulfill staff or customer requests.
Carefully reviews all shipping and receiving documents for accuracy and completeness.
Collaborates with various departments to help locate and manage inventory items.
Actively supports shrinkage reduction efforts and enhances inventory control processes.
Competently operates forklifts (Reach; Standup) and electric pallet jacks.
Safely and efficiently loads and unloads trucks as needed
