About The Position

Inventory Control Clerks supply material to Production based on production schedule and other needs, assist Receiving Clerks with various duties and ensure inventory accuracy. This will be achieved by maintaining HellermannTyton's Quality and EHS certifications by supporting all corporate policies, procedures, work instructions and required documentation.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalency required.
  • Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to perform basic math required.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, with an acceptable driving record, along with adequate insurance.

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ year experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
  • Ability to use JDE system to properly make inventory adjustments.
  • Data entry proficiency .
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize preferred.
  • Computer skills preferred, including data entry and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Forklift experience preferred.
  • Ability to work rotating weekend coverage with other ICCs to ensure that business needs are met.

Responsibilities

  • Support production needs: Pull stock for press; Adjust support based on production schedule and follow schedule changes.
  • Track inventory levels: Monitor stock quantities and update records to reflect incoming and outgoing items. Perform inventory cycle counts as requested and assist in bi-annual physical inventory duties.
  • Maintain proper documentation: Create STOs and BOLs and create records for future reference.
  • Conduct audits: Perform regular physical counts to verify inventory accuracy and spot discrepancies.
  • Organize and label goods: Ensure all materials are properly tagged and stored in the right locations.
  • Report issues: Flag damaged, missing, or surplus items and coordinate with relevant departments.
  • Investigate discrepancies: Reconcile inventory variances or issues.
  • Internal customer service: Communication with various departments to fulfill requests or concerns.
  • Operate equipment: Use pallet jacks, forklifts, or other tools to move heavy goods when needed.
  • Perform inventory cycle counts as requested and assist in bi-annual physical inventory duties.
  • Provide back-up for other ICCs, as needed, for all Milwaukee facilities.
  • Assist in maintaining HellermannTyton's Quality/Environmental System certifications by supporting: corporate policies, procedures, work instructions, and required documentation.
  • Other duties as assigned.
