Your Opportunity:
The Herff Jones Cap & Gown location is looking for an Inventory Control Coordinator to join our team in Arcola, IL.
Here's How You’ll Make an Impact:
Reporting to the Inventory Control Manager, the Inventory Clerk’s primary job function is to sort, count, inspect and package emblematic parts, pieces, and products to make ready for shipping department.

Requirements

• 2 -3 years of experience in a similar role in addition to meeting the following requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Good computer and communication skills.
• knowledge using Microsoft suite required
• math, critical thinking skills, teamwork, and organization skills required.

Nice To Haves

• Oracle and JMAS experience a plus
• any background in Inventory, Production/Material Control and/or Purchasing are helpful.

Responsibilities

• Verify number of pieces against work order.
• Prepare production orders and deliver to appropriate department.
• Inspect for finish, quality, and trademark.
• If order is short, or pieces are manufactured incorrectly, coordinate replacements and adjust inventory accordingly.
• Package pieces individually or bulk package depending on customers’ request.
• Deliver to shipping department.
• Additional tasks as necessary.
